SEO Account Manager with German
The German SEO Account Manager is responsible for the
development and implementation of Natural Search Engine Visibility
projects on behalf of clients, primarily in the German and Austrian
markets. Strong English and German written and spoken language
skills are essential.
Job overview
This role combines technical expertise in website development
and coding with a thorough understanding of search engine
algorithms and the technical developments within the Search Engine
Marketplace. This includes auditing sites of potential clients for
new business pitches and building proposals in response to client
briefs.
The SEO Account Manager is responsible for keeping clients
informed with any new developments in this area, as well as working
as closely with the STEAK Natural Search Consultants and clients'
web development and IT teams to ensure the natural search strategy
agreed is implemented correctly. Natural Search specialists report
to an Account Director and work within a client team, and work in
close-operation with the Head of SEO.
What we'll want you to do
- Help the Natural Search Consultants build and maintain strong
working relationships with clients
- Be an effective and confident communicator clients on all
levels (written and oral)
- Ability to provide a clear strategic business plan detailing
delivery of KPIs
- Analyse latest changes in search engine algorithms and industry
developments
- Act as a professional representative of the company at external
events
- Explain in detail technical ideas to clients and those with
non-technical roles
Team responsibilities
- Ability to share best practice findings so all team can work in
the most efficient and effective manner
- Delegation of jobs and project manage to ensure all deadlines
are met
- Communication to all team members and proactive working on any
project that might need extra attention
- Development of team members knowledge and experience including
in house training
- Managing ongoing project work within the team
Integration
- Provide a clear understanding of how search fits into the
client's overall marketing mix & the relationships between each
channel
- Production of detailed plans integrating search with other
marketing activities
- Working with search providers and other agencies to help
produce clear strategies and campaigns
- The ability to co ordinate clients and external agencies where
necessary
- Proven ability to plan, create and deliver presentations to
senior clients
- The ability to represent Steak in a multi-agency
environment
Business development
- Assessment of the potential of a prospective client and the
suitability for STEAK
- Understanding of RFIs & RFPs and the ability to construct
responses of the highest level
- Audit sites of potential clients for new business pitches
- Provide technical knowledge for pitch presentation meeting the
potential client's KPIs & priority areas
Finance
- Development of clear plans to increase client revenue and
ROI
- A clear understanding of client & Steak accounting
processes and the ability to complete accurate reconciliations
- The ability to work together with the accounts dept to resolve
any issues that arise
